Our Commitment to Privacy

At Rager, we take your privacy seriously. This app is designed to help you find and organize your concert tickets while respecting your data privacy.

What Google User Data We Collect

Rager collects the following Google user data when you use our service:

• Your email address (for authentication and to save your event information)
• Your name (for personalized greeting in the app)
• Email content from specific ticket vendors in your Gmail account

We only search for emails from known ticket vendors, including:

• Ticketmaster
• SeeTickets
• DICE
• AXS
• Live Nation
• StubHub
• Frontgate Tickets
• Eventbrite
• Showclix
• Resident Advisor

Our email search queries are specifically crafted to only match emails from these vendors with subject lines containing terms like "ticket," "tickets," "festival," or "concert." We never access personal emails, financial communications, or any other unrelated content.

From these emails, we extract only the event name and date information to create your concert list.

How We Store Your Data

The extracted event information (event names and dates) is stored:

• On your device during your browser session
• In a temporary server location to enable the sharing of public links
• No payment information, login credentials, or private messages are ever extracted or stored

Data is accessible only via your unique URL, which contains your email address as an identifier.

We implement the following data protection mechanisms to safeguard your information:

• All data is stored in encrypted databases
• We use secure HTTPS connections for all data transfers
• Authentication sessions are secured with HTTP-only cookies
• We employ rate limiting to prevent unauthorized access attempts
• Regular security audits are conducted on our infrastructure

Authentication

We use Google OAuth for authentication, which means:

• We never see or store your Google password
• You can revoke access at any time through your Google account
• The requested scopes are limited to only what's necessary (Gmail readonly access)

How We Use Your Google User Data

We only use your Google user data for the following purposes:

• To authenticate your identity and provide you access to our service
• To scan emails from ticket vendors to extract event information
• To create and display your personalized list of upcoming concerts and events
• To allow you to share your event list via a unique URL

We do not use your Google user data for:

• Advertising or marketing purposes
• Training AI or machine learning models
• Creating user profiles or databases beyond what's needed for the app's core functionality
• Any purpose unrelated to providing or improving our service

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We want to be transparent about how your Google user data is handled:

• We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your Google user data with any third parties for their commercial purposes
• We do not transfer your Google user data to any advertising platforms
• We do not share your data with data brokers, information resellers, or for credit assessment
• We only process your email data on our secure servers to extract ticket information
• We may use trusted service providers (such as Supabase for data storage) who are bound by strict data protection agreements
• These service providers only process your data on our behalf and do not have permission to use your data for their own purposes
• We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights or the rights of our users

Data Retention and Deletion

Here's how we handle the retention and deletion of your data:

• We retain your event data for as long as you continue to use our service
• If you don't use our service for 12 months, we may delete your stored event data
• We do not keep any copies of your emails - we only extract and store event information
• You can delete all your data from our service at any time by:
• Revoking access in your Google account settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions
• Contacting us directly at alexanderkcheng@gmail.com to request data deletion

Your Control

You have complete control over your data:

• We only perform searches when you explicitly request them
• Your saved events page is public only to those who have the specific URL
• You can revoke our access to your Google account at any time
